“Every Filipino deserves a home,” says Dr. Felixberto Bustos, Jr., President of the National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation (NHMFC), during their Memorandum of Understanding Signing with Pueblo de Panay, Inc. (PdPI) and Sacred Heart of Jesus Development Corporation (SHJDC) yesterday, May 10, 2016, at the Circulo Convention Center, Pueblo de Panay Roxas City.
Pueblo de Panay, Inc. (PDPI) and Sacred Heart of Jesus Development Corporation (SHJDC) are subsidiary companies of Sacred Heart of Jesus Prime Holdings, Inc. (SHJPHI) that are engaged in real estate businesses in Roxas City, Capiz. Pueblo de Panay, Inc. is the company behind the 400-hectare Pueblo de Panay Township in Roxas City, dubbed as a “city within a city”. Sacred Heart of Jesus Development Corporation is the pioneer real estate developer in Roxas City that has remained steadfast in its goal to provide affordability and excellence in gated-community living since 1992. These two companies sought NHMFC to channel housing finance services and make it available to their clients.
The National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation was created in 1977 by virtue of Presidential Decree 1267, with the mandate of increasing the availability of affordable housing loans to finance the Filipino homebuyer's on their acquisition of housing units through the development and operation of a secondary market for home mortgages. Consistent with this mandate, NHMFC bought mortgages originated by private financial institutions and eventually sold them back to the public through the issuance of mortgage backed financial instruments.
This historic partnership between the three entities is expected to result to better house financing options to all Capiznons.
