Pueblo de Panay - Shopping & Dining

You are here:

Pueblo de Panay Township is home to the biggest mall in Northern Panay Island, Robinsons Place Roxas, which boasts of over 160 outlets for shopping, dining, service and amusement. It also has Roxas City’s first mixed-use commercial and entertainment complex, Punta Dulog. Punta Dulog houses a diverse mix of clothing and footwear shops, convenience and drug stores, several restaurants, entertainment and service centers, including the NBI office.

There are also several restaurants in the Township, each with its own specialty. Café Terraza offers traditional Asian and modern flavors with a Filipino twist and is known for its hilltop location with a splendid 360-degree view of Roxas City and Capiz. Adjacent to Café Terraza is Circulo Convention Center. It is a popular venue for weddings, birthdays, conventions, seminars, and other special occasions. It is the first structure to what is envisioned as a “one-stop-shop” wedding destination that will also someday include a chapel and a resort hotel.

The House of Bites Mediterranean & Filipino Cuisine, located at Punta Dulog, is the only restaurant in Roxas City that offers Mediterranean cuisine, like mezze platters and kebabs. Festa Resto, right across Robinsons Place Roxas, serves a delightful mix of local and international cuisines. Among its menu favorites are the Seafood Pasta, Malicious Gambas, Paella, Caldereta, and steaks. The Plant Farm is a favourite among locals and tourists alike because of the relaxing atmosphere its floating cottages provide. The newest dining places in Pueblo de Panay are Islands Hotel’s turo-turo style restaurant, Lola’s Recipe, and Islands Vista Café and Bar. Lola’s Recipe offers a variety of home-cooked style dishes at very affordable prices, while Islands Vista Café and Bar is a haven for coffee and pastry lovers.

A riverside complex is also soon to rise in Pueblo de Panay. A dining, entertainment and recreationoriented riverside esplanade development, it is designed to enhance life-work balance by blending naturally with Lawaan River and the township’s walking, jogging, and biking trails. The development promises to be an after-work hangout and a weekend destination for locals and visitors alike.
